4:我能使用本地管理表空间的特性来创建回滚段表空间吗?本地管理表空间相对字典管理表空间有什么优点?
回答:
1:你或许应该设置临时表空间的段的大小为SORT_AREA_SIZE的大小,我们分页的时候是按照这个大小分配的;
500M对于你的应用应该是足够的,当然,如果你有1000个用户来运行,那又是另外一回事情了.
2:非常正确,临时表空间将有固定的区的大小.分配段的大小是没有意义的.当分配的时候,不是释放,系统将定时释放,你应该避免使用不同的区的大小.这个大小应该是相同的大小并且应该和SORT_AREA_SIZE的大小一样;
3:区是不会释放的,参考

4:当然,你可以.
我一直反对使用pctincrease以及有不同的initial和next的大小.我一直喜欢pctincrease=0,initial=next.一个本地管理表空间将有统一的区以保证这个潜规则.但是你使用字典管理的时候,你可以推翻这个规则.本地管理表空间完全避免了碎片,在本地管理表空间中,不大可能会有碎片
本地管理表空间比字典管理表空间在分配和释放区的时候要快很多
本地管理表空间减少了数据字典的争用
